I had a D&C on 9th March. For the last three to four days, I have been experiencing pelvic pain and was taking Meftas Spas. Yesterday, the pain increased so much that I had to rush to the hospital and get a USG done, both transvaginal and whole abdomen. The transvaginal scan detected a retention cyst of 4.4 cm. The pain is continuing and is unbearable. Please suggest if there is anything to worry about. MetPCO has been advised. This was my first abortion, and I plan to conceive again within three months. Are there any worries? I have attached my report.

The cyst seen post D&C may be causing your pain. Retention cysts often resolve, but size and symptoms like pain must be watched. If pain persists or worsens, further treatment or surgical follow up may be needed. Planning pregnancy in 3 months is generally fine, but allow time for full recovery.
