Question

I had an ultrasound done for gas trouble which I have had for almost 2 years. The ultrasound report shows non visualized right kidney possibly agenesis with compensatory hypertrophy of the left kidney and fatty liver. I do not smoke, I do not drink, and I rarely take medicines. I understand that my right kidney has not grown since childhood. What does this mean for me along with fatty liver?

Congenital absence of one kidney not harmful if left kidney works well. Fatty liver needs diet and lifestyle correction. Regular monitoring advised.

Dr. Siri Suggests...

Take a LFT (Liver Function) Test Test or Take a Lipid Profile Test Test
