I have been experiencing a dry cough (sukhi khansi) for the past 8 months. I have taken antibiotics and anti allergic medications several times, but there has been little improvement. My chest Xray and blood tests are normal. I work in the teaching profession. Could you please advise what might be causing this persistent cough and what steps I should take to treat it effectively?

Chronic dry cough can be due to acid reflux, asthma, or postnasal drip. Since tests are normal, consult a pulmonologist or ENT for further evaluation.

My father has a wet cough and seems weak. His blood report shows neutrophilic leucocytosis, and his lymphocyte count is 12.3. Is this a serious condition, or is it a normal response to a cold?
