I have been experiencing high fever since Saturday, and my reports indicate dengue. Along with fever, I have full body pain and itching. My blood reports are: Monday CBC: WBC 4300, Platelets 2.5 lakh Tuesday CBC: WBC 2600, Platelets 1.5 lakh, SGPT 101, BP 100/70 I am currently taking Lenol ER, C Lin 500, Rabeprazole Sodium, and Domperidone DSR. Previously, I was able to reduce the fever with Paracetamol (Calpol 650), but now the fever is persistent. How should I manage this? What steps can help cure or relieve my symptoms?

Your platelets are dropping and liver enzyme (SGPT) is high, which is common in dengue. Persistent fever, body pain, and low WBC show the viral phase is active. Avoid antibiotics like C Lin unless advised for a confirmed bacterial infection. Stay hydrated (ORS, coconut water), avoid NSAIDs like ibuprofen. If platelets drop below 1 lakh or you get bleeding, seek hospital care.

My platelet count is 125,000/mm (normal range: 150,000 to 400,000). Is this something serious or dangerous? Do I need any treatment? I have attached my report for your review and advice.
