Question

I have been experiencing twitching mainly in the eyes (sometimes left, mostly right) and forehead for about 2 to 3 months. The twitching is not severe but noticeable. Sometimes there is pulsation on the forehead which causes a mild electric impulse type feeling. I have had blood tests for Vitamin D, B12, thyroid, etc., and all were normal. What is causing this? Should I be concerned?

Twitching in the eyes or forehead, especially if mild and lasting for weeks, is often due to stress, eye strain, caffeine, or lack of sleep. Since your Vitamin D, B12, and thyroid tests are normal, its most likely benign facial twitching (myokymia). The electric pulse sensation can also happen with nerve sensitivity, especially under fatigue. Try to reduce screen time, improve sleep, and cut caffeine. If the twitching becomes constant or spreads to other areas, consult a neurologist once.
