I have been suffering from Chikungunya for the past 2 weeks. During this period, I experienced upper thigh and knee joint pain for 2 days, which is now under control with medication. My blood report shows increased WBC, and my doctor mentioned a possible viral and bacterial infection. I have also been having loose motions (liquid stools) for the past 3 days and a fever above 102F for several days. My medical history includes urinary tract infections, and my kidneys are shrunk.

Likely post viral with bacterial component. Continue hydration, monitor kidney function, and follow up on loose stools.

I am experiencing pain in both hands, which sometimes becomes unbearable. The pain extends from my arms to my fingers and even my palms. According to my blood tests, I do not have any infection or fever (dengue, etc.). I do not understand the reason for this pain. My hands feel very weak, and I am unable to lift or hold any weight. The pain lasts throughout the day and night, but occasionally it becomes extremely severe. What could be causing this, and what should I do?

I have attached my husband blood test report. Some of the values are: MCH 35.2 pg, lymphocytes 46.5 percent, eosinophils 6.4 percent, and RDW SD 49.5 fL. The other investigations are shown in the attachment. He recently had a stomach infection. Could you please review the report and suggest if there is anything to be concerned about?
