I am also experiencing a lot of hair fall, and rashes appear on my skin daily. When I take Livogen to improve my serum ferritin, it causes skin rashes, so I am unable to improve my ferritin levels. Kindly guide me on what I should do.

Concerned about this, I consulted a trichologist a month ago. After examining me, she initially suspected male pattern baldness and asked if I had a family history of baldness, which I do not. She then recommended tests including CBC, TSH, and Ferritin.

I have been experiencing significant hair loss, which has led to visible balding patches. I recently underwent hormonal testing, and all results were normal except for low serum ferritin levels. My general physician prescribed Orofer to address the iron deficiency. However, since starting Orofer, I have noticed breakouts (pimples) and irregular periods, which were not an issue before. Could you please advise.

Sudden hair fall can be stress related or nutritional. If Minoxidil helped, you can resume it. Ensure good diet, check iron and vitamin levels. A dermatologist can guide further.
