I have a CBC test and peripheral smear test today. I had sex at 3 AM today, and my blood test is scheduled in 4 to 5 hours. Should I postpone it until tomorrow, or will it not affect my results? Please help.

Sex before a blood test (CBC or peripheral smear) does not affect the results. These tests measure blood cells, hemoglobin, and general health, not influenced by sexual activity. No need to postpone you can go ahead with the test as planned. Just ensure youre well hydrated and not physically exhausted.
Dr. Yusuf Suggests...
Take a CBC Test (Complete Blood Count) Test or Take a PERIPHERAL SMEAR Test

View allSir, I received my report from Thyrocare showing an eosinophil count of 10.5, which is higher than the normal range of around 5 to 6. I am very worried because I read articles mentioning cancer and acute leukemia. Two months ago, my eosinophil count was 4.2, and now it has increased. Is this very serious, or is there still hope to get better? Please suggest what I should do

Hello Doctor, my mother ultrasonography result showed a 3.7 cm cyst on the left ovary. The doctor prescribed Cystelia 35 for six months continuously. During the first month, she had side effects of abdominal pain, bloating, and excessive sleep each day. We reported this to the doctor, who gave only an iron tablet and said if we were worried, we could do a cancer blood test. Today, in the second month of taking Cystelia 35, my mother suddenly noticed red, raised, painful blisters that are spreading and very painful after itching. Doctor, please help. Could this be a side effect of Cystelia 35? My mother is in a lot of pain from the blisters. Please advise urgently.
