I have had jock itch for the last 2 years. It goes away temporarily if I take medicine for about 7 days, but it comes back within 15 days. I cannot sleep properly at night and feel uncomfortable during the day at the office. I have now shifted to Ayurvedic medicines, but it is taking longer, and the itch is still there. I did some blood tests, which show my CBC count is low. My Ayurveda doctor said this means I have a weak immune system, which is why I get infections continuously. I also have thyroid with TSH 8.45. Can Ayurveda help me? Is this because of a weak immune system? I just want to get rid of the jock itch first. Please help.

Jock itch persisting for 2 years suggests chronic fungal infection due to incomplete treatment or reinfection. Thyroid imbalance (TSH 8.45) may lower immunity but is not the main cause. Continue personal hygiene, antifungal care, loose cotton clothes, and dryness. Ayurveda may support but needs consistent lifestyle changes. Do a Fasting Blood Sugar (to rule out diabetes) and KOH Scraping Test from the affected area for confirmation if it recurs.

There were two HbA1c tests done one week apart. The first result was 5.6, and the second result was 5.7. If I am prediabetic, please suggest what to do next. Can it be reduced below 5.7 without prediabetic medications?

Hello, this is Saikrishna Nagunuri. Recently I have given my blood and urine samples for a regular check-up. In the blood report they mentioned normochromic and normocytic. Blood sugar level in fasting is also on the borderline. I had food late at night and waited on an empty stomach for some time to give samples. In the urine report they mentioned reduced sugar and protein trace. Please find the attached reports and suggest if any diet or medication needs to be followed. As I am a software professional, I worked long hours for the last two weeks due to heavy workload. Most of my job involves sitting for long hours. These days I am feeling fatigue after work and also feeling drowsy. Thank you in advance. Regards, Saikrishna.
