Question

I have multiple gallstones, with the largest being 12mm and others around 8-9mm. I'm also diabetic, and my HIDA scan showed 95% gallbladder function. Should I consider surgery for gallstones? I'm worried about potential future issues like chronic diarrhea, fat-soluble vitamin deficiencies, liver problems, or increased gas and acidity after gallbladder removal.

Given your multiple gallstones, including one 12mm stone, and your diabetes, surgery (cholecystectomy) is a strong consideration for addressing the gallstones. While a HIDA scan showing 95% gallbladder function indicates relatively good function, larger stones, especially in a diabetic patient, increase the risk of complications and may outweigh the benefits of maintaining the gallbladder

I'm experiencing some weird stomach issues and I'm a bit concerned. I used to have a stomach ulcer, which is thankfully better now, but for the past few months, my stomach's been gurgling a lot. I also feel really full and get a ton of gas after eating. I'm having a bit of a worrying situation here. I had some serious gas troubles yesterday and took a Rantac 300mg tablet last night and again this morning. The gas issue seems sorted, but now I'm feeling a sharp pain under my right ribs whenever I take a deep breath. On top of that, my neck is hurting, and the pain under my ribs gets worse when I'm sitting or lying on my right side. What could be causing this?

I've had the ARMS procedure for GERD and acidity, but I still get constant burping. If I try to hold in a burp, I end up vomiting right away. Is there any permanent solution for this, maybe even surgery or another treatment? It's really affecting my daily life.
