I just received my report, and it shows that my cholesterol levels are very high. Please suggest some effective medicines or ways to manage and reduce my cholesterol. Additionally, I have some issues with my neck and would appreciate your advice on that as well. If needed, I can send you my reports for a better understanding. Kindly guide me on how to improve my health and help me work towards a healthier body. I look forward to your response.

High cholesterol needs lifestyle changes such as low fat diet, daily walk, and stress control. If very high and outside normal limits, kindly visit a doctor to start medication. BP monitoring is also needed. Avoid oily foods. For neck issues, maintain posture and see a physiotherapist if pain persists.

Take a LFT (Liver Function) Test Test or Take a Lipid Profile Test Test

More LIPID PROFILE Health Queries
View allI had a complete body checkup a few months back and found that my SGOT and LDL cholesterol levels were slightly higher than normal. My report showed SGOT 36 optimal less than 34, SGPT 47 optimal 10 to 49, and LDL cholesterol 109.5 optimal less than 100. I did the same tests again two days ago from a different lab, and the results are SGOT 33 is 15 to 37, SGPT 63 is 16 to 63, and LDL cholesterol 110 is 70 to 180. I am not sure if the biological reference ranges given in both reports are correct, as they are different, and I am unable to understand if my current levels are fine. Can you please tell me the correct levels and if the reports are normal?
