I recently did my liver test, and my report shows AST/SGOT as 62 and ALT/SGPT as 122. Is this serious? Kindly advise.

Your liver enzymes are elevated, possibly due to fatty liver, medications, or alcohol. It is not an emergency, but requires attention. Please avoid alcohol, junk food, and take liver protective supplements like Liv.52. Definitely repeat LFT and Ultrasound Abdomen to monitor. You must take these tests to guide treatment.

My blood report shows normocytic normochromic cells with macrocytes and ovalocytes, and my liver enzymes are elevated (SGOT is 55.9 U/L, SGPT is 61.9 U/L). Could this indicate that I am suffering from any disease? Is this reversible, and is there a chance that I might have hepatitis? Please advise.

I had an ultrasound done for gas trouble which I have had for almost 2 years. The ultrasound report shows non visualized right kidney possibly agenesis with compensatory hypertrophy of the left kidney and fatty liver. I do not smoke, I do not drink, and I rarely take medicines. I understand that my right kidney has not grown since childhood. What does this mean for me along with fatty liver?
