Question
I recently found in my report that a nonobstructive small calyceal calculus of size 2 to 3 mm is seen in the upper pole of the left side kidney. Please advise what should I do? What type of diet should be taken?

A 2 to 3 mm stone can often pass on its own. Drink 2.5 to 3 liters of water daily. Limit salt and oxalate rich foods e.g. spinach, nuts. Avoid sugary drinks. Follow up with your doctor for monitoring.
