I recently got a urine test done for my grandmother. The report shows full/high pus cells and 4 to 6 epithelial cells per HPF. Could you please explain what this indicates and if any further action or treatment is needed?

FULL/HPF pus cells means significant infection or inflammation in the urinary tract. Epithelial cells (4 to 6/HPF) are slightly elevated, likely due to urinary lining shedding. This may suggest a urine infection (UTI), especially if she has burning, fever, or urgency. A urine culture is advised to find the right antibiotic. Please consult a doctor for treatment.
