I recently had a liver function test. My ALP level is normal, but ALT and AST are elevated. I am also experiencing mild pain in the upper right abdomen, with no other symptoms. I do not consume alcohol, do not smoke, and have no history of diabetes, high blood pressure, or serious family illnesses. My cholesterol is normal, triglycerides are mildly elevated, my weight is 79 kg, and my height is 5 feet 7 inch

Elevated ALT/AST may indicate fatty liver or inflammation. Lifestyle, diet changes, and rechecking LFTs in 4 to 6 weeks are recommended. An ultrasound may help clarify.
