I recently received my blood test report, and the MCHC level, which is 35.1 g per dL. Could you please explain what this means? Is this value considered normal or high?
Answered by 1 Apollo Doctors
MCHC of 35.1 is slightly elevated but not concerning if other CBC values are normal. No treatment needed unless symptoms appear.

I recently received my routine checkup report, but since I am not from a medical background, I tried to look up the meaning of the tests online to see if everything is normal. However, I am still unsure. My results are Hemoglobin: 17.3 (High) RBC count: 5.9 (High) Hematocrit: 54.2 (High) Absolute Basophil Count: 00 (Low) MPV: 11.6 (High) Total Cholesterol Ratio: 2.64 (Low) BUN: 8.61 (Low) Could you please explain what these results mean? Are they within normal limits, or is there any cause for concern?
