I was tested for COVID 19 on the 3rd and 7th day after coming in contact with a COVID positive person. Both tests were negative, although I had a bad sore throat at the time. On the 10th day, I experienced reduced sense of smell and a fever of 99.4 degrees F in the afternoon. I started following a COVID protocol, and today is my 13th day. I no longer have a sore throat, but sometimes I still get a fever of 99.4 degrees F. When should I test again, and how long will it take for me to fully recover?

If symptoms developed late, retesting on day 14 to 15 may help. Most mild COVID cases recover in 10 to 14 days. Continue isolation until at least 3 symptom free days. If no worsening, no need to test again unless required.
