I'm 28 and have gallbladder stones but don't feel much pain. I was considering surgery but wondering if medicines can dissolve them permanently. Since I'm not in much discomfort, is surgery still the best option for me?

I've been really worried because I used to have this habit of eating slate pencils when I was a teenager, like from age 15 to 17. I gave it up for a while, but just recently, I found myself eating about two boxes this year.
