Question
I'm feeling a bit under the weather with a cold today, and I was planning to have a drink tomorrow. Do you think it's okay for me to have some whiskey? I'm really curious if it might affect my cold or overall health. I read some places say a little alcohol is fine when you have a cold, but others say it's not. I'm not sure what's best.

Alcohol consumption can have negative effects on your immune system and can potentially worsen your cold symptoms. It is generally not recommended to consume alcohol when you have a cold as it can dehydrate you and make it harder for your body to fight off the infection. It's best to avoid alcohol until you have fully recovered from your cold. Instead, focus on staying hydrated and getting plenty of rest to help your body heal faster.
