I'm really worried about my 24-day-old baby girl who cries a lot at night. We initially thought it was gas since that's pretty common with newborns, so we've been giving her Crosin drops as suggested by our paediatrician. I'm wondering if it's safe to keep giving her 4 drops daily? Are there any other medicines you would recommend? She seems to be doing well otherwise - she sleeps and eats well, with no fever or unusual symptoms. We feed her every 2.5 hours and her bowel movements are normal. Any advice on why she might be crying so much?

I'm really concerned about my 10-month-old who has hand, foot, and mouth disease. Is it safe for me to continue breastfeeding him? And is it okay to give him a bath while he's sick with this disease?

Yes, it is safe to continue breastfeeding your 10-month-old baby even if they have hand, foot, and mouth disease. In fact, breast milk can provide important nutrients and antibodies to help your baby recover faster. Yes, it is okay to bathe a baby with hand, foot, and mouth disease. My baby boy is 9 months old and he's been having loose motions since last Friday. We saw a pediatrician who recommended giving him Nutrolin B twice a day and a Zinc Dry Powder Suspension once a day. Over the weekend, he had about 7 to 8 stools each day. Today, it's been 5 times so far. What's really worrying me is that his last 3 stools have been dark green in color. Should I be concerned about this? Do you think I should take him back to the pediatrician right away?

Consult your pediatrician immediately if you notice: Symptoms 1. Fever > 102F (39C) 2. Vomiting 3. Blood in stool 4. Refusal to feed 5. Signs of dehydration (dry mouth, fewer wet diapers) 6. Dark green stools persisting or worsening Additional Concerns 1. Infection (bacterial or parasitic) 2. Food intolerance (lactose or gluten) 3. Allergic reactions 4. Gastroenteritis (viral infection) Self-Care Measures 1. Continue current treatment (Nutrolin B, Zinc Suspension) 2. Monitor stool frequency, consistency, and color 3. Record temperature, appetite, and overall condition 4. Breastfeed or formula feed frequently 5. Offer electrolyte-rich fluids (ORS, coconut water)

I'm really worried because my little cousin accidentally drank 25 ml of Dettol Antiseptic Liquid that I had in a measurement cup. Its been about half an hour since then, and he just complained of a bit of irritation on his tongue. Theres no abdominal pain or nausea at the moment. He did drink a lot of warm water afterward, but I'm still anxious about whether hell be okay or if any other symptoms might show up. Could you please let me know what I should do?

Your symptoms suggest a possible case of: Recurring mouth ulcers or Dry mouth (xerostomia) with irritation The location, near the left tonsil, could be related to: Tonsillitis or Tonsil stones Sleeping on your left side may exacerbate the issue due to: Dry air irritating the area or Pressure on the left side of your mouth Consult an: Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) specialist or Dentist for a thorough examination and guidance.
