I've been trying to quit smoking and managed to stop for a month, but I slipped back into having one cigarette a couple of times a week. Now whenever I do smoke, I feel this strong chest tightness and discomfort for a couple of days, and even hear a cracking sound in my trachea when I'm doing normal stretches.
