I'm wondering if it's safe to use the old cough syrup and pain relief syrup for my toddler that we opened and used a bit of about 6 months ago. Should I be worried about its effectiveness or safety now?

Losartan (Losar 50) is typically taken once daily.

Recommended Dosage Timing

  1. Morning: Take Losar 50 in the morning, with or without food, to help control blood pressure throughout the day.

Why Morning?

  1. Blood pressure control: Morning dosing helps maintain blood pressure control during the day.
  2. Reduced nighttime effects: Taking Losar 50 in the morning may minimize potential nighttime side effects, such as dizziness or lightheadedness.

Previous Medication (Amlodipine 5)

  1. Stopping medication abruptly: Suddenly stopping Amlodipine 5 without consulting a doctor may lead to rebound hypertension.
  2. Consult a doctor: Before stopping or changing any medication, consult a doctor to ensure safe and effective blood pressure management.

Please Note

  1. Monitor blood pressure regularly: Regularly check your mother's blood pressure to ensure the medication is effective.

I'm really worried about my kids. They don't seem to have much of an appetite, they're really thin, and I'm noticing that their IQ seems a bit on the low side. Plus, they're having trouble sleeping. Could vitamins help with these issues?

My 2-year-old daughter has had hydronephrosis in her right kidney since birth, and recent tests show only 44% function. The doctor recommended surgery, but I want to explore other treatment options first are there any medicines or alternatives? If surgery is the only option, what's better traditional or laser? Also, what would be the approximate cost?

Hydronephrosis with reduced kidney function (44%) in a 2-year-old typically indicates obstruction that may not improve with medications alone. Surgery is often the definitive treatment, and delaying it could risk further damage. Laser (minimally invasive) surgery is preferred for quicker recovery and less pain. Costs vary by hospital but may range from ₹50,000–₹1.5 lakh in India.

I'm really concerned about my 10-month-old baby. Her head feels warm but her hands and body are either normal or kind of cold. She's also experiencing constant diarrhea and vomiting. Do you have any advice on what this could be or what I should do for her?
