It seems I have an allergic condition. I have also done an IgE test. I would like to know what treatment options are available for this.

Elevated IgE confirms an allergic tendency but does not pinpoint the exact cause. Treatment focuses on avoiding known allergens, using antihistamines if needed, and maintaining hydration. If allergies are frequent, an Allergy Panel (Skin Prick Test or Specific IgE Test) can help identify triggers for long term management. Consult your doctor for personalised allergy treatment based on symptoms and triggers.

Dear Doctor, I have severe sneezing and wheezing and my eyes and ears are also itching and having irritation. Sneezing for more than 100 times in a day, minimum 10 to 20 each time I sneeze, is making my life miserable. I am also struggling with sleepless nights, which is increasing my symptoms even higher. How can I tackle this issue? I found my eosinophils count is a little higher than expected. I am yet to receive the complete blood report. But this problem has been consistent for more than 3 years. Please suggest a way to get out of this miserable living. When I sneeze, urine leaks. In the morning, as soon as I wake up, I sneeze like hell and my stools also leak due to severe and unstoppable sneezing. I hope you are able to see the life I am living. I do not know which treatment or which specialist is suitable to treat my problem. Please help and direct me to the correct treatment. Thank you, Durgalakshmi.

I have been getting small red bumps on my skin during the daytime, accompanied by a burning sensation. This has been ongoing for 1.5 months, and I have already taken some medication. Which allergy tests should I get done to identify the cause?

Hi all. I have been having a chronic scratchy throat almost every month. It comes like a cold, stays for 5 to 6 days and then goes away. I was a smoker earlier, so I did spirometry to check whether it is asthma or COPD. Both reports were negative and the doctor advised Montek AB for 3 weeks. I also have acidity and gas issues for which I am taking Nexium D in the morning and Pan D in the evening. Today my CBC and blood report came (see attached). My serum IgE looks high. Can anyone review these two reports and let me know what is going wrong in me? My mean platelet volume is 13.6. Do I need to worry?
