I've been checking my blood sugar at home with a glucometer, and I got 99 before eating. Then, 2 hours after having lunchwhich was mainly a maida wrap, chocolate cake, and ice creamit shot up to 151, and 3 hours later, it was 148. Is this something I should be worried about?

Your current readings are slightly higher than normal but not alarmingly high. However, its important to monitor your blood sugar over time, especially after consuming foods high in refined sugars. If these numbers become more consistent, it's worth discussing with a healthcare provider to rule out any underlying issues like insulin resistance or pre-diabetes.

View allI'm 34 weeks pregnant and my blood sugar is 204 pp. I'm really worried about this. I'm on 8 units of insulin every day, but it seems like it's not enough. Can you suggest ways to better control my blood sugar? I'm also wondering if this could have any negative effect on my baby.
High blood sugar during this period can lead to macrosomic baby that can make the labour difficult. After birth baby is at risk of hypoglucemia, hyperbilirubinemia, thrombocytopenia etc. During this period you need to monitor your sugar levels 3-7 times per day and the insulin doses need to be modified to maintain fasting less than 90 and PP less than 120. Kindly get back with sugar chart and insulin dose details

I'm trying to figure out what's best for my dad who's been dealing with Type 2 diabetes for about 20 years now. We found these ayurvedic tablets, IME9 and BGR34, made by Indian Labs, and are wondering which one might be better. My dad's on insulin and had bypass surgery 8 years ago. Any advice on whether either of these tablets could be helpful?
Rather than depending on ayurvedic medicine better to continue Insulin
