I've had a ganglion cyst on my wrist for around three years and I'd really like to avoid surgery are there other treatments that might help shrink it or make it less painful?

I'm having trouble bending my left index finger after I had k wire surgery. It's been almost a year now since the surgery, and I'm starting to worry because the finger not only won't bend but also looks different. They used a k wire to connect two bones.
