I've had two endoscopies and my doctor diagnosed me with GERD. They prescribed some tablets, but I'm still struggling with symptoms like constant upper stomach discomfort, feeling like my stomach is always full, and hardly ever burping even after eating. Talking makes me tired, and I can't relax even when taking deep breaths my chest expands, but my stomach muscles stay tense. Sometimes my throat feels tight too. I read about fundoplication surgery for GERD do I really need it, or can tablets still help? I'm really worried about this.

I'm having a bit of a worrying situation here. I had some serious gas troubles yesterday and took a Rantac 300mg tablet last night and again this morning. The gas issue seems sorted, but now I'm feeling a sharp pain under my right ribs whenever I take a deep breath. I'm dealing with some bowel issues for about a year now. Sometimes things seem to get better, but then it starts acting up again after a few days. My colon just doesnt seem to empty properly. Sometimes the bowel is really hard, and other times there's a mucus-like thing, which causes gas and acidity. No matter what type of bowel movement it is, I struggle to pass stools and have to apply a lot of pressure, which sometimes leads to rectal pain. Even then, my colon still doesnt feel empty. I'm wondering if there might be some kind of obstruction or if it could be irritable bowel syndrome. It's really affecting my daily life, and the discomfort is too much to handle. Can you help clarify what's going on?

I'm a bit worried after my recent liver function test results came back. My AG ratio is high at 3.5, and while my albumin is in the normal range, my globulin level is low at 1.7. Also, my direct bilirubin is slightly elevated at 0.33. Most other test results seem normal though. What could all this mean? Could there be something going on with my liver that I should be concerned about?
