I've noticed some changes in my skin color with different soaps. Normally, my skin tone is cream-colored, but using Santoor soap seemed to make it lighter and better. However, when I switched to Mysore Sandal soap, my skin started looking darker. Someone mentioned that Santoor soap is meant for women, so I stopped using it. Can you suggest a different soap that might help my skin get back to its original color? I'm really curious and a bit concerned about how this keeps happening.

Soap preference can be personal and skin-type dependent.
To help you find a suitable soap, consider the following:
- Look for soaps with natural ingredients: Soaps containing ingredients like coconut oil, olive oil, or shea butter can be gentle and nourishing.
- Avoid harsh soaps: Soaps with high pH levels or containing harsh chemicals can strip your skin of its natural oils, leading to dryness and darkening.
- Opt for fragrance-free or hypoallergenic soaps: These soaps are less likely to contain irritating ingredients that can affect your skin tone.
Some soap options you can consider:
- Dove Sensitive Skin Beauty Bar
- Nivea Soft Moisturizing Soap
- Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser
- Himalaya Herbals Gentle Bathing Soap

View allI've been dealing with these recurring boils at the back of my neck right where my hairline is for over 34 years now. They're really painful, and I'm wondering if there's anything more I can do about it. I keep good hygiene and wash my hair every other day with a mild shampoo. Health-wise, I feel fine otherwise. Any advice on what might be causing this or what else I could try?
Recurring boils in the same area can be due to a condition called furunculosis, which is a skin infection involving hair follicles. To help treat and prevent these boils, you can use an antibacterial wash like Hibiclens to cleanse the area daily. Applying an antibiotic ointment like Neosporin can also help. In some cases, your doctor may prescribe oral antibiotics like Augmentin to clear the infection. Additionally, maintaining good hygiene practices and avoiding tight clothing around the neck area can help prevent further outbreaks.

I've been dealing with an itchy scrotum and these light white plaques on it for almost a year now. I just started using Terbinafine cream a couple of days ago. Any idea what I should do from here? I'm really curious if this treatment is enough or if there's something else I should consider.
