Lab report shows nucleosomes positive 1 and DSDNA positive 1. Results are attached. Please suggest what we should do? We visited Dr. URK Rao, and he recommended consulting you after observing the reports.

Positive nucleosomes and dsDNA markers may suggest an autoimmune condition like lupus, but further evaluation is needed. If there are no symptoms like joint pain, rashes, fatigue, or kidney issues, this may not be clinically significant yet. Please consult a rheumatologist for detailed assessment and correlation with clinical signs.
Dr. Ezhilarasan Suggests...
Take a ANTI NUCLEAR ANTIBODY (ANA) Test or Take a CBC+ESR Test

View allMy son is 5 years old and he had a congenital defect in the kidney since birth. Since a few days he has some inflammation which has caused swelling all over the body. His urine report shows that there is protein and blood in the urine. What does this mean and are there any further tests you suggest we should do?

Two months ago, I experienced stomach pain and underwent an ultrasound scan. The report showed that the pelvicalyceal system in my left kidney is prominent, possibly due to a lower ureteric calculus (stone). The liver appears normal in size and shape, with no focal lesions or other abnormalities. After medication, my pain has reduced to minimal levels, but I want to be sure that there are no remaining stones. I am willing to consult at a good hospital for further evaluation. Please advise on how to confirm the absence of stones and what steps I should take next. Thank you.
