My 2-year-old daughter has a fever of 103, and we've tried giving her continuous sponge baths, but it's not coming down. We also gave her 4 ml of Meftal P suspension, but then she vomited an hour later. Should I give her another dose, and when is it safe to give her paracetamol P250 again?

Since fever has just started and she has vomited just once it is best to wait and watch. You can give crocin at 6 hour interval if temperature is above 100F. Also give plenty of fluids such as ORS to avoid dehydration. If however such high fever recurs or vomiting continues or there are any other symptoms you must consult a doctor for physical examination to exclude dehydration or serious causes of fever.

I'm really worried about my 24-day-old baby girl who cries a lot at night. We initially thought it was gas since that's pretty common with newborns, so we've been giving her Crosin drops as suggested by our paediatrician. I'm wondering if it's safe to keep giving her 4 drops daily? Are there any other medicines you would recommend? She seems to be doing well otherwise - she sleeps and eats well, with no fever or unusual symptoms. We feed her every 2.5 hours and her bowel movements are normal. Any advice on why she might be crying so much?
Avoid givig crocin and ask your doctor to give digestive enzymes like Colic aid or neopetine, that would help you
