My 5-month-old baby is having really bad loose motions, probably because of the antibiotics Advent that he's taking for ear pain. I'm giving him Enterogermina, but he's still having loose stools about 7 to 8 times a day. I'm really worried since he's so little, and the antibiotic course is still going on. What should I do to help him?

Fever for 4 days can be concerning.
Parasitamol (Acetaminophen)
- Temporarily relieves fever: Parasitamol can help reduce fever, but it doesn't address the underlying cause.
- Not a cure-all: While parasitamol can provide temporary relief, it's essential to identify and treat the underlying cause of your fever.
Consult a Doctor
- Prolonged fever: Fever lasting more than 3-4 days requires medical attention.
- Underlying cause: A doctor can help determine the cause of your fever, which could be a viral or bacterial infection, or another underlying condition.
- Cough and other symptoms: Although your cough is rare, it's still important to mention it to your doctor, as it could be related to your fever.
Please consult a doctor to:
- Determine the underlying cause of your fever.
- Receive proper treatment and guidance.
- Rule out any complications or underlying conditions.

View allI'm having trouble finding a place in Gurgaon where they give polio drops. We're keeping up with regular immunization like DPT, but I'm wondering if we also need to join these government polio drop programs. Is it necessary?
Since your child is already receiving regular immunizations, including DPT, they are likely protected against polio. However, participating in government-led polio drop programs can provide additional protection, especially since India is still at risk of wild poliovirus importation. To find a place in Gurgaon where polio drops are administered, you can try contacting local health authorities or visiting the National Health Mission website for more information. Additionally, you can reach out to your child's pediatrician for guidance on polio vaccination and drops.
