My brother is an alcoholic and has recently been consuming alcohol daily, exceeding the safe limit. He has not been taking any medication. I have attached his liver profile test report from last year. Please check the report and advise on the further course of treatment?

Chronic alcohol use harms the liver. If liver enzymes were abnormal last year and alcohol use has increased, repeat liver function tests and consider liver ultrasound. Urgent intervention is advised.

View allHi Doctor. I am a 41 year old male. My abdominal ultrasound report shows that the liver is average in size, measuring about 16.1 cm in the right midclavicular line with a smooth outline. It has normal homogeneous echogenicity with smooth echotexture. There is an ill defined heterogeneous lesion in segment IVb V measuring about 1.7 by 2.4 cm with minimal surrounding vascularity. The portal vein is average in calibre with normal colour flow. Can you explain the cause and how dangerous this condition is.

I am experiencing severe discomfort in the upper and middle abdomen, along with bloating and excessive gas. I am currently taking Nexpro L. My epigastric pain has not improved. I have attached my latest blood report and ultrasound. Could you please help me understand which organs might be involved, and whether I can take Rifaximin or Rifagut 200 mg for dyspepsia and gastritis? I would like guidance on the best treatment for dyspepsia, gastritis, and fatty liver.
