My daughter has a 46-degree spinal curvature and her back is already deformed with moderate chronic pain. Her scoliosis is unusual because the curve goes into her pelvis, which seems more concerning. At what point does this surgery stop being elective? She deals with constant pain, fatigue, and frequent depression it's really affecting her life.
