My father is a cardiac patient (normotensive and non diabetic) and underwent CABG 3 years ago. He is currently on antianginal medications: Diltiazem 90 mg, Ranolazine 500 mg, Flavedon MR, and Monotarate 20. Today, his blood report shows: Serum creatinine: 1.28 mg/dl Serum uric acid: 7.5 mg/dl Urine RM: Proteinuria 10 mg/dl Does this indicate a kidney problem, or is it nothing to worry about?

These findings suggest early kidney strain. Its not urgent, but kidney function should be monitored regularly. Reduce salt and protein in diet.
Dr. Kamran Suggests...
Take a KFT with Electrolytes (Kidney Funtion) Test or Take a eGFR Test (Estimated Glomerular Filtration Rate) Test
