My father is a cardiac patient (normotensive and non diabetic) and underwent CABG 3 years ago. He is currently on antianginal medications: Diltiazem 90 mg, Ranolazine 500 mg, Flavedon MR, and Monotarate 20. Today, his blood report shows: Serum creatinine: 1.28 mg/dl Serum uric acid: 7.5 mg/dl Urine RM: Proteinuria 10 mg/dl Does this indicate a kidney problem, or is it nothing to worry about?

These findings suggest early kidney strain. Its not urgent, but kidney function should be monitored regularly. Reduce salt and protein in diet.

My grandmother urine test showed positive occult blood. Our doctor prescribed Cital, and she has been taking it for 12 days. However, in the last 2 days, she has developed swelling in her feet and face. Could you please confirm if Cital is the right medication for her condition?
