My father has been suffering from a urine infection for one week. He underwent circumcision surgery on August 13th. Currently, he has an infection around the penis, scrotum, and surrounding area, with redness and significant swelling. He also has ulcers all over his tongue and throat. The surgeon who operated on him mentioned that the infection is spreading and recommended injections for faster recovery, which he said would treat both the urine infection and the infection around the penis. I am attaching his prescription and urine report for your review. Please let me know if these medications are appropriate. Also, he is diabetic, and his blood sugar was 180 when last checked at home.

Infections can spread faster in diabetic patients. If the surgeon has advised injectable antibiotics, it is usually to control the spread quickly. Please ensure proper wound care and sugar control.
