Question
My friend was diagnosed with Budd-Chiari syndrome back in 2004 and has been managing it since. Now she's developed gall bladder stones around 6mm, but surgery isn't an option because of her liver complications. What other treatments could help in this situation?

In Budd-Chiari with gallstones, surgery is risky; medications to reduce cholesterol and bile salts like ursodiol may help—monitor with liver team.
