My husband had a blood test as he has digestion issues. His SGOT level is 73.10 U/L and SGPT level is 131.20 U/L. He does not consume alcohol. What is the remedy to bring these levels back to normal?

Elevated liver enzymes may be due to fatty liver, viral hepatitis, or medication. Please take an Ultrasound Abdomen and Hepatitis Panel.

View allHi, I used to consume high levels of alcohol for 10 years. For the past 5 years, I have quit hard liquor but have beer 5 days a week, around 2 bottles of 650 ml each. I have fatty liver grade 1. SGOT is 37 and SGPT is 64. Total bilirubin is 0.6. All other liver parameters are normal. Will this fatty liver grade continue to progress? I swim for an hour 6 days a week, around 400 metres. I have been taking Reheptin 1 tab a day for 6 years.
