My last period was on 1st August, and it has been 37 days since the start of my cycle, but my period has not yet arrived. I have been experiencing white discharge for the past 4 days. I took a pregnancy test on the 35th and 37th day, and both were negative. What should I do now?

A 37 day cycle with delayed periods and two negative pregnancy tests is reassuring, especially if you are having white discharge but no other symptoms. Stress, illness, or hormonal fluctuations can cause delayed periods occasionally. It is best to wait for another 5 to 7 days, and if your period does not start, repeat a urine pregnancy test. If your cycles remain irregular or you experience pain, consult your doctor for further evaluation.

I have used Sevista 60 mg from 26th June till 11th August. I am not having periods though my pregnancy test report is negative. How long should I wait for my periods to come? If I want to have sex, will I start Overal L again in this situation? Will Overal L give me protection against pregnancy? Will it take months or days for my periods to normalize since I stopped Sevista on 11th August? In the absence of periods, if I start Ovral L, will it prevent pregnancy?

Hi Doctor, I have irregular periods, so it is difficult to calculate my menstrual dates. I had intercourse on 21st, and my last menstrual period was on 19th. When should I take a pregnancy urine test to get an accurate result?
