Question
My last period was on 22nd May, and I have not had any periods since then. I took several home pregnancy tests, all of which were negative. My doctor initially advised taking Evacare for 3 months, and recently recommended taking progesterone 5 mg for 5 days. What should I expect, and is this the correct approach?

Delayed periods with multiple negative pregnancy tests may be due to hormonal imbalance or PCOS. Regesterone helps induce periods. If periods do not come after completing Regesterone, consult your doctor for further evaluation. You can do a Thyroid Profile, Serum Prolactin, and Pelvic Ultrasound to check for underlying causes if irregular cycles continue.
