Hi. My mother has been suffering from Rheumatoid Arthritis. We have been visiting a nearby doctor every month, but the condition seems to be the same. We are taking ESR and CRP tests in her blood report every month. According to the doctor, this will take time to improve, but it has been almost eight months, and we have not seen any improvement. I have had stiffness and pain in my knees, shoulders, thumbs, and wrists since childhood. I have consulted more than 10 doctors including Ayurvedic, general physician, orthopedic, and rheumatologist, and all my blood reports are normal. No one in my family has arthritis. Some doctors say it is a mental problem and not physical, and that I do not have any type of arthritis. But I cannot play cricket because I cannot throw the ball due to pain and stiffness. I also cannot run or bat. The problem is increasing with age. Will I have to live with this for the rest of my life or is there any treatment for it?

My RA factor test report is positive. I have been experiencing joint pain in my fingers for the last two days. Six months ago, I visited a specialist at NH Hospital, who said there were no symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis.

RA factor positive with symptoms now suggests early rheumatoid arthritis. Needs antiCCP test to confirm.
