My report stated multiple peripheral follicles with central echogenic stroma in both ovaries. Polycystic appearance on both ovaries.

Multiple peripheral follicles and echogenic stroma suggest a polycystic appearance. This does not confirm PCOD unless accompanied by irregular periods, acne, or excess hair. It is a common ultrasound finding in many young women.

I am 37 years old. I have acne on face upper back and neck. I had acne problem for a long time. It used to appear more during the start of menstrual cycle but recently after pregnancy my baby is 6 months old now the problem has accelerated. During pregnancy one of my reports showed PCOS in right ovary. I conceived naturally and no treatment was taken. I consulted an allopathic doctor who said it is due to hormonal changes and prescribed Persol gel but I feel it is not effective. Please suggest some medicine? I want to get rid of acne.
