About 30 days ago I met with an accident and now have problems in my left knee. The MRI report shows intraligament hyperintense areas in the ACL, abnormal hyperintensity in the posterior horn of the medial meniscus, MCL thickening with hyperintensity, bone marrow contusion in the medial femoral and tibial condyle, a radial tear in the posterior horn of the medial meniscus, and a grade 1 MCL sprain. Can partial ACL damage heal without surgery or does it need reconstruction?
