Question

My right leg has been hurting badly after an accident and the MRI at Jorhat Medical College showed a broken ligament. The doctors recommended arthroscopy surgery and suggested I go to Delhi Sports Medicine Centre. I'm really worried about this - can you tell me more about the procedure and if there are any other options? What should I expect during recovery?

If the ACL tear is partial, physiotherapy might be sufficient for recovery. However, if there’s instability in the knee or you’re involved in high-impact activities, surgery (like arthroscopy) may be necessary. Discuss recovery goals with your orthopedic surgeon.
