This is my routine blood test report, which I take every 3 to 6 months to check my thyroid. Last time, the doctor advised me to take Thyronorm 75 mg tablet, which I completed yesterday. I have now gone for my checkup. I just want to know whether I have to continue the same medicine or not. My reports are attached above.

If your TSH is still above normal, you may need to continue or adjust the dose. Do not stop without consulting your doctor.

View allI recovered from COVID in May (tested negative around 13 May; I was infected around 20 April). After consulting a doctor and taking medicines, I recovered. In June, I had a chest X ray, and everything was normal. The issue is that, every one to two weeks, I sometimes feel body weakness for a day, and at night my heartbeat becomes a bit fast (on oximeter, it ranges between 69 to 93). I also have trouble sleeping. Please suggest what could be causing this and how I can recover faster.

My wife has been suffering from hypothyroidism for the past two months. Her TSH increased after taking medication for a month (50 mcg Eltroxine). The doctor has suggested increasing the dosage to 100 mcg for two months before doing another blood test. She has also been advised to follow a low glycemic diet. I want to get a second opinion?

I am taking Thyronorm 75 mg for thyroid. In my current thyroid blood report, T3 is 86 ng/dl, T4 is 6 ng/dl, and TSH is 10.65 nIU/ml. My TSH is high. What should I do to control TSH, and do I need to increase my tablet from 75 mg to 100 mg? I am also very lean. Is this due to thyroid? Please suggest how I can gain some weight?
