Question

My son has been suffering from a fever for the past 2 months. We have consulted a doctor, but there has been no significant relief. For the past 6 to 7 days, he has also been experiencing constipation. His blood reports are mostly normal, his platelet count is 1,05,000, and haemoglobin is 13.5. The fever is not daily but typically appears between 12 to 3 PM. We have given him Meftagesic Plus, Calpol, and Ibugesic, but the fever keeps returning twice a week.

Recurrent fever needs further evaluation. Slightly low platelets could be due to a past viral infection. If basic tests are normal, your doctor may recommend infection markers or imaging.

Take a CBC Test (Complete Blood Count) Test or Take a DENGUE PROFILE (NS1/IgG/IgM) - RAPID Test
