My wife is 6 weeks and 4 days pregnant. On 31st August 2022, her urine report indicates a trace of protein. Earlier on 19th August 2022, there was no trace of protein in the urine. Is this a matter of serious concern?

Trace protein in early pregnancy is usually not serious, especially if one time. It can be due to minor dehydration or exertion. Keep an eye on BP and swelling. If protein persists or increases, it may indicate a kidney or BP issue and needs follow up. Also get done urine routine to rule out infection.

Take a Creatinine Test Test or Take a Urine Routine Test Test

View allHello, I am 28 years old and 21 weeks pregnant. My doctor asked me to get an OGCT test done. For that, she asked me to dissolve G75 in 2 glasses of water and give a sample after 2 hours. Does G75 have any adverse effects on the growing fetus? Is G75 safe to be consumed in pregnancy?

I already tested uric acid and serum creatinine. My report was normal. What is the reason for sometimes having foamy or bubbly urine and sometimes pain in the left upper back and right side? Is it serious?
