Prolactin of 40 ng/mL is mildly elevated. Rule out stress, thyroid dysfunction, or pituitary microadenoma. Treatment includes low dose cabergoline or bromocriptine UNDER EXPERT CONSULTAYION if periods are irregular or trying to conceive. Thyroid function must be checked.
