Please check the attached reports, which include CBC, thyroid, and other test results. I tested COVID positive last month. I have been taking a 50 mg thyroid tablet for the past 5 years.

Long standing thyroid issues need updated TSH/T3/T4. Post COVID changes could transiently affect levels. Please take TSH, Free T3, Free T4 and repeat CBC to confirm stability.

View allI am 66 years old. My thyroid test was done on an empty stomach after taking my thyroid medicine. The results show TSH is 3.65, T3 is 0.65 ng/mL (slightly low) and T4 is 5.96 microgram/dL (slightly low). I am taking 25 mcg of thyroxine daily. Are these results normal, or could they be inaccurate because I took the medicine before the test?

I was diagnosed with thyroid 2 months ago but did not consult a doctor. Can I use the same 2 month old report to consult now, or do I need to get tested again?

Why are both my TSH and T4 levels high? I understand that a high TSH usually means hypothyroidism, so why is my T4 also high? Is this a serious problem? I am really worried. Please check my report and help me understand.
