First of all this test is not very accurate however, it is done to determine the gender of the baby. baking soda is taken in a glass and urine of a pregnant woman is added to it. If the urine fizzes out then the woman is expecting a male child.

I am currently taking Glycomet 500 mg in the morning and evening. My blood sugar readings are around 150 (fasting) and 190 to 200 (post meal). I underwent an IUI procedure 22 days ago and am now waiting to find out if I am pregnant. I am concerned about whether these sugar levels could affect the baby if the result is positive. Could you please advise me on what precautions I should take at this stage?
