I had cold, cough, and fever two weeks ago. I consulted a doctor who prescribed antibiotics (Amoxicillin 625 mg), Paracetamol 500 mg, and Ascoril cough syrup. After a week, the cold and cough continued with a runny nose, so he gave me some cold tablets for two days, which helped temporarily. Now, I am again experiencing severe cold, cough, chills, and a temperature of 97 to 99F since yesterday. Today, I consulted the doctor again, and he recommended some blood and urine tests. I have attached the reports. He is asking me to take IV therapy daily for four days along with more antibiotics. I shared my medical history, and he suggested getting a second opinion from you regarding this treatment. Should I continue treatment with him, or should I go to a bigger hospital? Please advise. Blood Report: WBC: 12,950 /cumm Neutrophils: 77 percent Eosinophils: 7 percent ESR: 36 mm/hr AEC: 905 /cumm Urine Report: Appearance: Cloudy Albumin: ++ Pus cells: 26 to 28/hpf Epithelial cells: Present in clumps

My 27 year old daughter had viral fever on Monday. After three days, the fever went away, but she is still suffering from a persistent cough. Her blood report and chest X ray are normal. She has taken many medicines and syrups, but the cough has not improved. The doctor said there is an infection in her throat. Please suggest what we should do next.
