My arm's been hurting since I got blood drawn three times for some tests on January 25th. There's a bit of redness on my skin too. It seemed to be getting better, but I played squash today, and now the pain's back. Can you suggest what I should do?

It seems like your arm might be experiencing irritation or inflammation from the multiple blood draws. I recommend applying a cold compress to reduce swelling and taking over-the-counter pain relief, such as ibuprofen, to alleviate discomfort. If the redness or pain worsens, or if you notice swelling, it would be best to consult your doctor for further evaluation.

My white blood cell count isn't increasing, and I've been experiencing some discomfort in my chest and heart area. I'm a bit worried about what this could mean. Could these issues be related, and should I consider getting some tests done?

I would recommend consulting with a healthcare professional for a thorough evaluation and proper diagnosis. In the meantime, you can consider taking antibiotics like Amoxicillin (dosage: 500mg-875mg) to help increase white blood cell count and relieve any potential infection. Additionally, medications like Aspirin (dosage: 75mg-325mg) can help with chest pain by reducing inflammation.

I'm a bit worried about my health lately. I recently had a throat infection and although I'm feeling better now, my haemoglobin is at 9.5. My other CBC tests seem normal. I had a baby via cesarean section back in September 2016. Could you help me understand why my ESR levels might be increasing?

ESR can be raised in a lot of conditions of inflammation. Need not worry about that. You can take a tab. Livogen once a day after food for a month and have a high protein diet. Consult a MD consultant physician in person for further evaluation and management.
